But it’s no secret that Instagram is a tough place to promote on… especially with how saturated markets have gotten over the years. Every day there are more and more people trying to do the exact same thing as you and the last thing you want to do is sound sleazy when trying to talk about what you offer on your Instagram stories.
Instagram for business marketing is a freaking powerhouse when used correctly. And marketing on Instagram in today’s dynamic digital landscape requires strategy & authenticity! Whether or not you know how to market on Instagram or not, you will be able to walk away with 3 powerful ideas after reading this article (pinky promise)!!
So let’s get right to it! Here are 3 Instagram stories ideas to promote your offer and/or services!
Nothing sells an offer more than proof that it works!
You are a problem solver & a tool for making dreams come true, remember that! If you’re a holistic nutritionist, you’re not selling consults on healing someone’s gut… you’re selling the dream of eating whatever you want & not bloating like you’re 6 months pregnant. If you’re a wedding photographer, you’re not selling photos… you’re selling the feeling of reliving the most important day of someone’s life over & over again.
Sharing testimonials and positive messages you receive from your current clients are one of the best ways you can “soft sell” on your Instagram stories without sounding salesy or sleazy. This is because as humans, we are all natural skeptics when it comes to spending our hard earned dollars. So showcasing positive proof overcomes the objection most people have about whether or not something will work.
People always have questions. Which means they NEED your answers! And I guarantee you not a single follower of yours knows all the answers about what your business offers, who you work with, why you do what you do, what your current promos are, etc. There is ALWAYS a question that people need to know the answer to when it comes to your business.
Screenshot a DM you got and answer the question on your story for your audience to view! This is a fun, refreshing & informative way to talk about something in the direction of what you offer. It also shows that other people are interested enough in what you offer if they’re taking time to personally message you looking to find more info.
The best way (in my opinion) to market on Instagram stories is to straight up talk about who you help & why you help them. This is a form of story telling & people are craving that.
Doing this will provide your audience with clarity and paint the picture of who IS or is NOT qualified to work with you. This enables those who aren’t qualified to be weeded out so your Instagram stories engagement can increase and effectively convert your viewers at the same time!
Instagram stories is one of my favorite instagram business tools because of the possibilities to convert your audience! People are constantly filling every ounce of their free time with… screen time. And although I find it to be a little ridiculous at times… we may as well take advantage of it as business owners, right?
When people wait in line every morning for their coffee, it’s become a habit to whip out their good ol’ smartphone and browse IG. What’s quick and easy for them to use as entertainment in their 3 minutes of time? Instagram stories! That’s my point.
Posting daily on your IG story is KEY for getting your audience to listen to what you have to say because they may not have the physical time or attention span to take more than a few seconds to watch your story’s content.
